Ockenden is a Cambodian NGO working with land-based communities, both Khmer and tribal. They work with community forestry, village level projects with food, disaster preparedness and infrastructure, farmer trainings with local trainers, and has a Permaculture demonstration farm with a cow bank . In all of their work they look to incorporate permaculture for a higher level of project successes.

PDI Lead Designer Rico Zook started working with Ockenden with a variety of trainings. He soon assisted in the development of their Permaculture demonstration Farm (Katch Pkar), as well as some general consultation about implementing permaculture on various levels.
This is ongoing collaboration that Rico will continue for many years with more trainings and project work.
